Alpenglow Veterinary Specialty + Emergency Center (AVSEC) is the resident specialty and emergency care center for Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center's Boulder cases. AVSEC acts as a reservoir for sick and injured wildlife after hours and administers treatment during Greenwood's off hours.
During Business Hours For emergencies during business hours (9 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week), please call Greenwood's emergency hotline at 303-823-8455. Their receptionist will help you humanely rescue the animal in need and give you directions to transport the animal to Greenwood.
Outside Business Hours Greenwood cannot accept animals left at their center after business hours. If you have an emergency and Greenwood is closed, please either refer to their Web site's emergency action plansto give proper care until Greenwood can return your call OR call AVSEC at 303-443-GLOW (4569) for assistance.
