Leah moved from Minnesota to Colorado in August of 2005.  She worked for a general health practice for five years in Minnesota then experienced internal medicine specialty in Colorado Springs for three years.  She joined the Aspen Meadows Internal Medicine team in 2009.  Leah is currently working on completing courses to become a certified veterinary technician.

Leah has always loved working with animals and experiencing the joy of helping them feel better.  She feels internal medicine is special because of the extra care and time it takes to break down tough situations and come up ways to improve quality of life.

Leah loves the mountains and the increased amount of sunny days Colorado has to offer.  She takes full advantage of hiking, whitewater rafting and rock climbing with her family (husband Mark and three dogs Hunter, Honey and Magoo). She also enjoys horseback riding and running.
