Karen Sanderson, Diplomate ACVIM, Head of Cardiology
Dr. Karen Sanderson is a graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biological Sciences at Colorado State University. Dr. Sanderson’s residency in cardiology was at the University of California, Davis. After her residency Dr. Sanderson achieved Diplomate status in the Veterinary College of Internal Medicine, specialty of Cardiology. She is the founder of Rocky Mountain Veterinary Cardiology (RMVC) and provided mobile cardiology services to the Front Range prior to the opening of AVSEC. She continues to operate RMVC and is one of the owner partners in AVSEC. Dr. Sanderson resides in Boulder with her husband, two children, and dog. She is an avid trail runner, hiker, and cross-country skier. She is excited to provide her services to the Front Range community.
